▶ Miracle Performed Through the Intercession of Libermann?
Father Libermann's sons were, practically, the 1st since the downfall of the African Church to penetrate the Dark Continent. Most of his 1st missioners paid for their heroism with their lives, others filled their places and the widespread prosperity of the Church in Africa, at the present day is, in large measure, due to their initiative and self-sacrifice.
On 19 June, 1910, Pius X declared the holy convert from Judaism Venerable 9 June 1910 by decree of heroic virtues.
Since that time, the cause of his beatification has progressed through the usual forms; and his spiritual sons throughout the world expect to see him ere long declared Blessed.
Fr. McQuillan tells us here about the case of one of his parishioners, Mr. John Victoria, given for near to death by his doctors, who apparently was cured through the intercession of Venerable Libermann.

É a Alegria do Evangelho.” – Almanaque das Missões
Ajude-nos a divulgar o nosso almanaque. É pequenino, mas tem um coração do tamanho do mundo!

- The bond linking AGSM to Duquesne University -
The bond that links the Spiritan University, Duquesne University of the Holy Spirit and the Association American Gold Star Mothers, Inc. is more than just helping to raise money for a cause.
It engages a Duquesne fraternity that is nothing less than a chapter of the Sigma Nu fraternity founded on January 1st, 1869 at Virginia Military Institute in Lexington. It integrates 166 active chapters and colonies on college campus throughout the US. The fraternity was chartered at Duquesne University on Dec. 5th, 1982.These University students are devoted to the highest values of excellence promoted by the National fraternity, whose motto is: "Excelling with Honor" with the mission to develop ethical leaders inspired by the principles of Love, Honor and Truth in fostering personal growth of each man’s mind, heart and character. Thus they are formed in pursuit of excellence, the main goal of the education offered by the Pennsylvanian Spiritan University and the Spiritan schools throughout the world.
The Sigma-Nu college of Duquesne University could not choose a better cause than servicing the National Board of American Gold Star Mothers, these heroic mums who lost a son or a daughter in recent conflicts and wars and undertake a difficult and long period of mourning. Every year, the brothers host the White Rose Ball as their philanthropy and are projected to raise approximately $15,000 annually for charity.
With this video, we wanted you to discover the bond that unites Duquesne University through its Sigma Nu students with the American Gold Stars Mothers and to discover who they are, what they do to support each other, as students dedicated to the cause of American Gold Star Mums and as Mums who heal their own wound in helping each other and serving the Veterans' cause. Discover the Life giving Spirit that unites them all for healing and sharing the Love of our common Maker for a better world!

- We had a chance to view the 'Spiritan in Detroit' video. It is a wonderful chronicle of the Presence of the congregation of the HS at St. Mary’s.
The church looks absolutely amazing! Rarely do print photos and videos capture the true beauty of our church, but you managed to do it. We are very grateful to you and all Spiritans!

▶ 2017 Holy Ghost Prep School Bensalem PA
aspires to form them morally, intellectually, and spiritually in the tradition of its Spiritan founders.
The School motto is the Spiritan one: Cor Unum Et Anima Una, "One Heart and One Soul/Mind" (Acts 4:32),
a description of the early Christian community of believers, united in faith, prayer, good works.
This cornerstone of the institution is also the mission of the school.
Form the heart, mind, and soul, i.e believing firmly in the value of the study of arts and sciences in the development of a thinking person.
The beliefs and values are not subject to the whims of current opinion, but rather are based on a knowledge and critical evaluation of the past and its lessons for the present.
We will see how HGP pursues this truth, the Truth that Christ is, and sees God in all that it undertakes with its age-old belief that a solid, Catholic education in the modern era must seeks
to inculcate in each student: a firm appreciation of and an unwavering fidelity to the beliefs and principles taught through the Catholic Church while also imbuing within each student a deep respect for the beliefs of others.
We will listen to staff and students to see how they are being filled with a sense of humanity and justice, a concern for the downtrodden and oppressed, and a Christ-like love for all.
▶ The Spiritans in Arkansas 02 TODAY
Today four Spiritans (Canadian, Congolese, Tanzanian, Vietnamese) still serve Jesus Christ in rural Arkansas, the “Natural State”, so named for its “unsurpassed scenery, clear lakes, free-flowing streams, magnificent rivers, meandering bayous, delta bottom-lands, forested mountains and abundant fish and wildlife” (Dennis Young), hence recently devoted to tourism while still, and this from the days of the settlement of Europeans practicing extensive agriculture, today modern intensive farming*.
The video lets you meet with some of the Spiritans parishioners of the Mississippi delta and discover who they are through their work and life in the diocese of Little Rock, how they share our Lord Jesus’ tender Love and Care to the communities they are dedicated to at St. John the Baptist’s, in Brinkley, Monroe Cnty, St. Andrew’s in Marianna, Lee Cnty, St. Francis of Assisi’s in Forrest City, St Francis Cnty, St. Mary - St Vincent’s in Hattieville, Conway Cnty, St Mary of the Lake’s, in Horseshoe Lake (Crittenden Cnty) and in Helena West Helena, Phillips Cnty, St. Mary’s, their main residence community.
*Since 2007 Arkansas is the cradle of innovative experiences like CARS (University of Arkansas) that addresses existing and new challenges in agricultural sustainability with the mission to enhance and sustain prosperity to farming and health and well-being for all citizens.

Nurturing life in Hazelwood with Everybody’s Gardens
Throughout this Pittsburgh area, like in many other stressed neighborhoods of Pittsburgh, there are community garden spaces, ‘Everybody’s Gardens’, tended by locals such as the members of the ’Hazelwood Urban Ag Team’.
With a garden at the corner of Lytle and West Elizabeth streets, and other ones too that are also tended by the members of the organization of Mr. Matt Peters, Chairman, and Composter & Biotech researcher Jim McCue (https://bioeverything.blogspot.com/), a cross-generational urban-farming mindset is growing in Hazelwood, a belief that soil healing permaculture farming can heal the land and reconnect the people who live on it.
The video lets Jim and Matthew express different views on their work and philosophy of permaculture in a urban context, this at a time when this kind of effort from citizens who decided to nurture life instead of staying submitted to the general disruption mode of production that leads to Global Warming has to be applauded.
They locally promote an anti-disruption mode of producing healthy food, an ambitious vision for the community, with the hope that younger generations may learn from their example.
This video has been made possible thanks to Fr. Vince Stegman who is the Spiritan priest working in St Stephen in Hazelwood as he introduced Jim and Matt to me.
