"The yardstick of the activity of zeal is the facility for us to keep being in recollection and in union with our Lord Jesus Christ in the midst of occupations. If we experience this facility, it is a sign that our zeal is really supernatural. If on the contrary, the exercise of our zeal puts us into trouble, into agitation, it is the work of nature. It is no longer the pure zeal of our Lord. Where our Lord is, there is peace. "

Se sentimos esta facilidade, é um sinal de que o zelo é verdadeiramente sobrenatural. Se pelo contrário, o exercício do nosso zelo nos lança na perturbação e agitação, é uma obra da natureza. Já não é o zelo puro por Nosso Senhor. Onde o Senhor se encontra, aí se encontra a paz. "
