Death of Mère Anne-Marie Javouhey, founder of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny, missionary in Guyane and Senegal, where she was responsible for the formation of the first three local priests. The respect and mutual friendship that existed between her and François Libermann, as well as the considerable help they gave each other, gives her a special place in the history of the Spiritan family.

Mort de Mère Anne-Marie Javouhey, fondatrice des Sœurs de Saint-Joseph de Cluny, missionnaire en Guyane et au Sénégal dont elle assura la formation des trois premiers prêtres ; le respect et l’amitié réciproques entre elle et le P. Libermann, les services mutuels pour le bien de la Mission, lui donnent une place toute spéciale dans notre histoire spiritaine .
